The story of the Juba Harvest Crusade is a long one. It is filled with challenges and testimonies of the hand of God.

Southern Sudan lies with the Sahara desert in the north and the temperate climate to the south. This makes Juba very hot by day and very cold by night. These weather extremes were not deterrents for the people who came at the crusade on the Buluk grounds; others coming in from as far away as Darfur and Khartoum.

The need of training materials for the local church became very evident as churches were overwhelmed by the increase in church attendance.

The crusade was graced by the Under Secretary of Culture and Welfare of the Government of Southern Sudan.
