Steven Sebyala

The person, the call and the Mandate.
Steven Sebyala was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda. While in school, Steven had a divine conviction to win souls to Jesus. With this heavy in his spirit, Steven started out to preach one on one. As the numbers of people being saved increased, he started home fellowships in the communities he preached in. Through the years, the fellowships grew into strong and dynamic churches. To date, two hundred thirteen churches had been planted and strengthened in regions previously unchurched.

In order to stay focused on this heavenly calling, Steven started an evangelistic mission – Africa Harvest Mission, Steven and the mission team travel widely around Africa holding regional harvest crusades and evangelism impartation seminars during those crusades. The purpose is to lift up Jesus in the whole of Africa to the ends of the earth, so that God will draw all men to Himself (John 12:32).

Steven’s passion and strength are focused on reaching the lost in Africa, the Mediterranean and the Arabian peninsula with the gospel of Jesus Christ to reach 1,000,000,000 people by 2045 – “The One Billion Soul Challenge“. Steven is married to Sara and they have five children, Samuel, Sandra, Sarah, Susan, and baby Sharon. Steven and Sara have adopted five other children as their own, also taking care of many other unfortunate children into their own home. This gave birth to the child care ministry under the Africa Harvest Mission, TOUCH (The Outreach to Unfortunate Children’s Hurts).
