We will be in the Kibera area of Nairobi January 27 – 31st, 2010.
We will be in Nairobi February 3rd – 7th, 2010.

KenyaThe city’s name Nairobi, is derived from a native Masai word meaning “place of cool waters.” One of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa, Nairobi is Kenya’s principal economic and cultural center. The country has a wide variety of wildlife and is a major tourist destination. Nairobi has many varied neighborhoods and suburbs. Principally, Nairobi’s wealthier residents live in neighborhoods to the west of the city center, while the least wealthy residents live in the east.

The Mathari Valley – Kibera, east and north of the city center will host us. Kibera Slum is located in the heart of Nairobi city and is the largest slum in Africa with a population of over one million people. In the recent Kenya’s elections, a lot of turmoil, violence and unrest that resulted were focused in this region.

Nairobi region has a population of 3,000,000 people and is a prominent social centre in the world. It is also classed as one of the most insecure cities in the world. The level of wrong doing in the region has greatly exceeded the level of influence of the church. The up rise of witchcraft, the increase in pornography in the young generation through the flourishing of the internet has increased lawlessness, making Kibera the centre of chaos in Nairobi city and spreading all over the region of East Africa.

We will hold three crusades in three different parts of Nairobi region. The crusades will cost US $120,000
